To send a fax via VoIP on a late model Brother fax machine, you will need to change the compatibility settings. To do so, follow either Option A or Option B, depending on your fax machine model.

Option A:

1. Press Menu, then select Fax.
2. Navigate to Miscellaneous, then Compatibility.
3. Select Basic for VoIP or Basic*.

Option B:

1. Press the MENU > 2 (Fax) > 0 (Miscellaneous) > 1 (Compatibility).
2. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to select Basic (for VoIP).
3. Press OK.
4. Press STOP/EXIT.
