UPDATE YOUR HOLD PLUS MESSAGES
2021 HOLD PLUS audio files
Before you begin let’s assure you have the available 2021 HOLD PLUS audio files in a folder on your desktop.
First, create a new folder on your desktop and title it HOLD PLUS 2021.
Next, download your 2021 HOLD PLUS audio files by clicking HERE.
Start by printing the “2021 HOLD PLUS list” you’ll find in the folder titled PRINT THIS FILE.
Select all the folders and audio files and press Download.
All files will download to your computer in a zip folder.
Open the zip folder and select all the folders/files.
Drag them to your new HOLD PLUS 2021 folder for easy access through the year.
Logging into your PHONE PLUS system using the PHONE PLUS icon on your desktop
Connect your PHONE PLUS system to your computer with an ethernet cable
Cycle the power on your PHONE PLUS system by unplugging the power for 10 seconds and plugging it back in
Identify the “HOLD PLUS 2021” folder that you placed on your desktop (from instructions above)
Open the current dated folder with the new audio files
Double-click on the PHONE PLUS console icon on your desktop
DO NOT click on the “auto detect IP address” check box
Click CONNECT in the center of the window
Click UPLOAD FILE in the lower left of the window
Navigate to your current dated folder in the HOLD PLUS 2021 folder on your desktop and click OPEN
Highlight a single file you want to upload to your PHONE PLUS system and click OPEN
Repeat this step for each file you want to upload
At this point you have the files uploaded to your PHONE PLUS system but placed in INACTIVE FILES
In the INACTIVE FILES window, highlight the file you want to make ACTIVE
Click on the right arrows and your file will move to ACTIVE status
Repeat this step for each file you want to make ACTIVE
Select previous files in the ACTIVE window and click DELETE FILE to remove them from your PHONE PLUS system
***DO NOT click DELETE ALL***
At this point you can call your main number and place your call on hold to hear the new HOLD PLUS messages
You do not need to press save
You are done and can close the console window by clicking the top right X
